Boasting the language of love and the most romantic city in the world, the French have a reputation it’s hard for us Brits to beat when it comes to l’amour.
But here at La Redoute UK we believe in you – we think the British can set just as many hearts a-fluttering. And in honour of Valentine’s Day, we’ve launched our #LaRomance competition to prove it.
From unforgettable marriage proposals to that sweet story of how you met, share the love with your true tales and you could be saying ‘Je t’aime’ to a fantastic prize.
The writers of the three best stories will win an annual subscription to My Little Box – a fabulous French brand that sends out packages full of fashion, beauty and lifestyle goodies every month, because little surprises shouldn’t be reserved for Valentine’s Day.

How to enter
Just take to Twitter or Facebook and, using the hashtag #LaRomance, tell us the most romantic thing that’s ever happened to you. Remember – expressing the story within the character limit is all part of the challenge.
Whether it’s overcoming adversity or just the little things you do to keep the spark alive, if you’ve got a British love story to help put us up there with those French romantics, we want to hear it.
We’ll choose the three best entries and award each with a My Little Box subscription – to either keep for yourself or gift as a Valentine’s present to that special someone.
